Mission:  The mission of the Library of Casa College is to cover the learning and information needs of the college community.

The Library has a variety of books that cover different subjects which are related to the departments and degrees offered by Casa College. Additionally the library offers a big range of subjects which cover the general interest of students.

3.      The Library is open only for the students, academic staff, and administration staff of Casa College who can borrow and use all the information materials.

 

4.      You can borrow books and audiovisual material, informational material such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, newspapers, journals and rare books cannot be borrowed. It is only allowed to use them within the library.

 

·        Academic staff:

Academic staff may borrow up to 20 items simultaneously each semester.

·        Students:

Students may borrow up to 5 items simultaneously for 14 days each.

·        Administration staff:

Administration staff of the Casa College may borrow up to 8 items simultaneously for 21 days each.

 

 

5.      The renewal of a book is allowed only when the book has not been request by another student. The renewal can take place at the library by presenting the book you wish to renew or you can also call at the library at 22 31 40 76.

 

6.      In order to reserve books that are already borrowed by another student, you can visit the library and inform the librarian at the circulation desk. When the book you reserved is returned to the library, you will be notified by telephone. If you don’t show up in 2 working days from the notification date then your reservation is cancelled. You cannot reserve material that belongs to the short loan collection.

 
 

7.      If a student doesn’t return the material on time, then the student must pay a fine based on the collection of the material as shown at the table below.

 

Losses – Damages:  The student is liable for any loss or damage of library material or equipment, and he/she will pay the cost of the damage.
