ACADEMIC COMMITTEES OF THE COLLEGE There are three Academic Committees in the College: The Administrative Committee, The Disciplinary Committee and The Academic Committee. The Administrative Committee The Administrative Committee is concerned with matters of an administrative nature and the smooth running of the College, such as the availability of teaching materials and teaching aids, the College building, the welfare of the students and other related matters. The recommendations of the Administrative Committee are submitted to the Board of Trustees for approval. The Administrative Committee is made up of the Academic Director of Studies, two Heads of Studies, one representative of the teaching staff and one representative of the students. The members of the Administrative Committee are the following: 1. Academic Director of Studies: Mr.Yiannis Saveriades 2. Head of the Programme of Business Administration: Mr.Yiannis Papamichael 3. Head of the Programme of Hotel Administration Studies: Mrs. Ellie Petrou 4. Representative of the Teaching Staff: Mrs.Tziortzi Nasia 5. Representative of the Students: Mrs.Veranika Ramonovich The Academic Committee The Academic Committee is concerned with educational subjects, such as the content of the programmes of studies, the improvement of teaching methods, scholarships and financial assistance to students, problems of evaluations of students and related matters.The recommendations of the Academic Committee are submitted to the “Assembly of the Academic Staff” for approval. The Academic Committee is made up of the Academic Director of Studies, two Heads of Studies, one representative of the teaching staff and one representative of the students. Representative of the Students: Mrs.Veranika Ramonovich The Disciplinary Committee The Disciplinary Committee is concerned with students’ disciplinary matters raised by any member of the teaching staff. Its decisions are submitted to the Principal of the College for approval. The Disciplinary Committee is made up of the Academic Director of Studies, two representatives of the Teaching Staff (of which one will be the member of staff directly concerned with the student that had misbehaved), the Head of the Programme of Study in which the student that had misbehaved belongs to, and one representative of the students.
